important - how to upgrade

If you use the trial version and you want to upgrade it to the new versions once they are released, you may incur in a problem related to the Marketplace that will prevent you performing the update in a clean way.

The only way you will able to update it is by Uninstalling and Downloading it again, this is a known problem for which we are currently waiting a fix.

Before doing that you will need to backup all your data in order to not loose them.

Backup/Restore instructions:

1- download my ‘WP7 Backup Service’ from Codeplex: http://wp7backupservice.codeplex.com/

2- connect your phone to the computer using the USB cable (you might need to leave the Zune software open in order to have your device recognized as part of your LAN)

3- run the ‘WP7 Backup Service’ application on your computer (as administrator on Vista / Win7 )

and take note of the ‘Backup Service Address’ and where your ‘Backup Folder’ is.

4- open up the ‘Business Cards’ application on your WP7, tap the three dots to open up the menu and chose ‘settings’

5- inset the backup service address in the related field and go back to the home screen

6- once again tab the three dots on the main screen and you can now use the backup and restore features.

You will now be prompted to give a name to your backup set or to insert the name of a backup set you want to restore.

The backup sets can be found inside the ‘Backup Folder’ directory on your hard disk, inside a directory named like the application tag associated to the application you are currently using (bussinescards in this case).
